At home with... Goat

Jane Lewis, the design genius behind one of our favourite brands, Goat, featured in this week's Scotland on Sunday magazine. Her beautiful London home perfectly reflects the simple and elegant shapes that she creates each season for the Goat knitwear and tailoring collections.

Talking about her label she reveals the origin of the name, "I decided to call it Goat, as I didn't want to use my own name, and since goats are where cashmere originates, it seemed a good idea". So now we know!

Describing her house she says "I love that it's all white, and like a blank canvas: I can dress it up or down depending on my mood, and it is very adaptable" We could say the same about her knitwear - so versatile to dress up or down. Real investment dressing.

Happy Birthday Cacharel

To celebrate 50 years of fresh, French design, Cacharel have teamed up with Liberty of London to produce a limited edition range using Liberty's signature floral prints. The Cacharel design team have raided the archives and come up with a collection of dresses and separates from iconic '70s designs.

Everyone from Luella, to Marc Jacobs and Nicole Fahri, has been working the floral trend this season, and what better way to get the ditsy-prints into your wardrobe than with the original floral cotton from Liberty.

Jane Davidson is the exclusive Scottish stockist of the 50th Birthday collection.
