So British summer time is eventually here (apparently!) and with it is bound to bring a whole host of 'dressy occassions'!

Jenny Packham and Collette Dinnigan are just two of the designers we've all gone crazy for this season. Jenny Packham's art-deco silver silk beaded gown and Collette Dinnigan's one-shoulder pewter gown, in particular, are definitely on all of our most wanted lists. Or if you fancy taking a little walk on the wild side, why not pop in and try the stunning La Perla leopard print gown featured in the Sunday Herald?!

But it's not just the eveningwear that has us going ga-ga, we have a fantastic collection of beautiful dresses for one of the many events you may have coming up over the summer season. It's a jean's thing - our jean's weekend is back

Time to celebrate, stop worrying - the JD jeans weekend is back! We will find your perfect fit of jeans!

We all hate jeans shopping - so we've decided to make the process a little bit more pleasurable - join the JD girls for a weekend of denim! If you want to look like Heidi Klum in her Joe's Jeans or Claudia Schiffer in her MiH jeans then you can!!



Over the weekend of the 27th and 28th of March we will be holding our famous jeans weekend - where we promise to find you a fantastic fit of jeans, no matter what your body shape, style or demands! Well have your favourites Joe's Jeans and J Brand but also some newbies for this season MET jeans, MiH and some gorgeous M Missoni!

Also over this weekend with every pair of jeans purchased you will be entered into a fantastic prize draw to win a Lulu Guinness handbag worth £225!!! What more could a girl want.

The store is open Saturday 27th 9.30am - 6pm and Sunday 28th 11am - 5pm so pop in or make an appointment and leave the stress to us!

The Girls in Vogue

We are the one of only two stores in Scotland to be in Vogue's Britain's Best Boutique 2010.

Proving that the only place to be is Jane Davidson those lovely people at Vogue have honoured us by naming us one of the best boutiques in Britain's. We are so excited because along with that we are still in our 40th Birthday - double celebration. So 40 years on the customers of JD are still as stylish as day one!

So now we can say 'we were SEEN in Vogue'!!!

Nicole Miller - the 'IT' dress for this season!

Yesterday we received our fab Nicole Miller delivery - including great day, holiday or night out dresses!



We love this stripe off the shoulder number - dress it with tan accessories, gladiator sandals and a great big tan bag for summer chic - think French Riviera. It's very Sienna Miller so channel your inner boho girl for this dress!! In a great stretch cotton its comfortable for holidays but will still look stylish for travel so ditch your jeans and dress up!!




This great tunic is a different style for Nicole Miller but still great none the less - really relaxed style for this summer but with fab colour for winter - with boots and a trench.

We always get so excited when Nicole Miller arrives - the bright colours and flattering shapes work so well on a curvy or boyish figure - it is the dress everyone should have in their wardrobe. This season, being such a dressy season, has seen a great selection of dresses including the classic David Meister, quirky Clements Ribeiro and trend inspired DVF.
