Clements Ribeiro, Halston, Red Valentino !!!

Its fair to say the Jane Davidson girls have had a fab week! Clements Ribeiro, Halston Heritage, Red Valentino - what more could we want?!

First off, Clements Ribeiro, the designer - with a thing for cats - has treated us to a fantastic collection. Favourites amongst the girls is the cashmere cardigan with vintage frogging detail - both in stripe and in plain black. We also love the fantastic pure silk kitty dress. Although, I think the cherry on top of the cake has to be the gorgeous Jack top with pearl and zip detail!

Definately the quirkiest brand of this season with its detailing but we love it - the cashmere is all produced in Scotland and it is one of the few husband and wife designer brands! The couple met at St Martins and have been making fab collections ever since!



Next up we got the fantastic Halston Heritage one-shoulder dress in. Amazing - with the iconic 'H' logo in gold on the shoulder- 3 fabrics, one style - sure to be a hit! Watch out for it in the Jane Davidson window and the much anticipated SATC 2 film!

And finally - Red Valentino. Last night our day was brightened up by a couple of pieces of Red Valentino including the 'couture t-shirts' - fantastic luxurious tee's with amazing bow details. As more pieces come in we'll post some photos on our blog - if you just can't wait pop in. They are definately worth a visit!

Diane Von Furstenberg - love, love, LOVE

Well, we said this season would be exciting with such new brands as Halston Heritage and Clements Ribeiro - however, our favourites have done it again.

Our wet Thursday was brightened up by our fantastic, and we mean FANTASTIC, DVF delivery.





Think Indian Summers (which is difficult right now), bohemian tunics and a real retro vibe. We all have our favourite pieces - from the pretty little ruffle silk tops to the classic tailored jackets with a twist - so we thought we'd entice you in.

We also had a amazing new M Missoni delivery - really confirming this S/S to be one of the brightest seasons yet, muted khaki tones with vibrant lime green and aqua... need we say any more!?


Although our great 60% sale is still online and in-store we just cannot wait until we get more new pieces.

Halston Heritage Our fantastic New Year present

We have been looking forward to the arrival of Halston Heritage. We are just a couple of weeks away.

Halston Heritage is the new brand for this season - it's been heavily featured in Grazia, Vogue, Harpers and will soon be in Jane Davidson. The most famous piece is the white long sleeve dress as seen in the new Sex and The City Film (which we also can not wait for!) however, the girls have been quite taken with the one-shoulder playsuit. With simple classic pieces it will sure be a hit - accepted to arrive during January.

Loving Lace - Collette Dinnigan

We love the lace trend at Jane Davidson, everything from the Nicole Miller seamed lace dress to the Diane Von Furstenberg Lace Collection.

However one piece which has caught our eye is the Collette Dinnigan Lace belted dress, and Vogue agrees! This is an unusual piece available in black with nude slip or in a vibrant blue - with accented shoulder detail and a delicate belt. This looks great on a lot of customers and we love the way you can wear it - we suggest either with a black biker or a Jenny Packham feather bolero for a more glamerous feel.

With the Christmas party season now in full swing we feel that every girl needs a party dress for the festive period - we've got some great Nicole Miller dresses, fantastic DVF pieces and we've just had a delivery of some of the new Herve Leger - a knockout dress if you ever needed one!

If you like the look of the Collette Dinnigan pop in and try it on - otherwise to have a similar look the Nicole Miller Lace dress is fantastic!

M Missoni in Glamour

We saw our fantastic cat knitted jumper in the December issue of Glamour this week.

This great Missoni jumper came in our last fantastic delivery of Missoni which we loved - it seems this season is all about embelishment - including some fantastic T-shirts from the same brand with great studs on them. We also think another trend is the oversized and exaggerated - including the shoulders on the new Collette Dinnigan dresses to the details on the great Armani Pea coat.

We are so excited about our new collections (and it only being a couple of weeks until Christmas!) pop in, have a mince pie and enjoy a little bit of retail therapy.

The jewel in Queene and Belle's crown

Our Saturday was made when we got our amazing new Queene and Belle delivery in - all the girls were swooning over it.

From the amazing Two for Joy cardigan with the hand painted magpies to the Genesha cardigan - everything looked amazing.


Queene and Belle has been a firm favourite - made from the softest cashmere with the brand's attention to detail obvious in every piece - it was always going to be a success. But this season's been selling out the door, and we can see why.



They also do the most fantastic scarves - this season with Anaconda and Lepoard scarves in fine knit cashmere. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
