Designer dress boutique - Scottish Style Awards 2009

Jane Davidson has been nominated in the Most Stylish Boutique award at the Scottish Style Awards 2009 (we couldn't agree more!)

The Style awards showcase the best Scotland has to offer, from the ones setting the trends - including categories such as Most Stylish High Street Retailer, Most Stylish Hotel and the coveted Most Stylish Male and Female. The awards, hosted by Sophie Ellis Bextor, are at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow one the 31st of October.

We saw one of our gorgeous new Armani Collezioni dresses in the latest edition of Marie Claire.

This classic winter dress looks amazing with skyscraper heels and adding the twist of the leather gloves as seen on this fiery red-head (left model) makes the dress really stand out. Stylish Winter - as seen in Vogue!

We are so excited about all the new deliveries that are coming in to complete our Autumn/Winter season.

One of our favourite collections so far has to be our new cashmere range from Madeleine Thompson. From gorgeous oatmeal shrugs to cute little hats as seen in this month's VOGUE! The tie dye trend is back!

Yes, the 80's are back - but this time the tie-dye trend looks amazing!

We spotted Rihanna in these J Brand tie dye jeans we just got in this week and had to show you how to wear this Autumn's hottest trend (and still look good!). Skin-tight and in jett black worn with simple pieces like Rihanna's grey t-shirt, blazer and boots makes her look like a proper rock chick! We love it!!

What Katie Wore...

We were thrilled and more than a little proud to read about our ex collegue Katie Mackay in Grazia last week.

Katie worked at Jane Davidson from the age of 14 until she went to Durham University and has now blossomed into a true fashionista.

Grazia magazine devoted 3 pages to her fashion blog www.whatkatiewore.com which is getting over 600 hits a day. The blog is written by her romantic boyfriend Joe as the ultimate love letter, he photographs her daily and comments on her outfit. He has challenged her to wear a different outfit every day for a whole year.
We are hooked and proud to watch Katie rising to the challenge. Go girl!
