Paul Smith’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy...

When Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy came to our cinemas, I was one of the 1st in line to see it.
Visually, it’s impeccable – For those who haven’t seen it, think cigarette smoke filled rooms and tobacco stained mustards complimented by shades of grey in every scene... my idea of perfection.

For the US release of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, fashion designer Paul Smith has created a quartet of limited edition screen-printed poster, each signed by Mr Smith himself.

The images on the posters include a circus tent, chess piece and my favourite, Morse-Code, all references that will make sense to anyone who has seen the film. The stark black, red and white colour palette perfectly evokes the Cold War backdrop against which the film takes place.

What’s more, all proceeds go to amfAR, the foundation for AIDS research. So if you find yourself in the US of A this week, make sure to pop into a Paul Smith store and snap up one of these posters, you won’t regret it.
